Two new dealers for Spy Boats

By IBI Magazine

Spy Boats, a joint venture between Australian boatbuilders Performance Marine and the Whittley Marine Group, has appointed two new dealers.

Blakes Marine will represent the Australian ski boat brand in New South Wales, while Broadwater Boating Centre will cover Queensland. The new appointments are in addition to Spy's current dealers — PSA Skiboats in Western Australian and Performance Marine in Victoria and Tasmania.

Blakes Marine, which is based in Sydney, stocks an extensive range of new and used boats, outboard motors and accessories. The company already serves as a dealer for Freedom boats and aluminium boats from Ally Craft.

Located in Labrador, Queensland, Broadwater Boating Centre offers a full range of new Quintrex and Haines Hunter boats along with Yamaha outboards. The company also sells used boats, trailers, spare parts and accessories.

The Spy Boats range currently consists of four models — the RX22, winner of the 2008 AMIF Skiboat of the Year Award, the RS22, TS21 and XS21. The company is planning to launch new models later this year at the 2010 Melbourne Boat Show in July.
