Art Marine expands

By IBI Magazine

Middle Eastern motoryacht importer and distributor Art Marine has announced a new campaign that it hopes will open up the world of yachting to a broader audience in the Middle East.

Announced at the Dubai International Boat Show this week, the 'Discover Yachting' campaign includes the launch to the region of a broad range of new models in the Azimut and Atlantis ranges, the introduction of two new US boating brands to the Middle East market, new charter partnerships, and the expansion of ART Marine's marina management portfolio.

"The Dubai International Boat Show offers the ideal platform for ART Marine to launch the 'Discover Yachting' campaign, the aim of which is to engage new audiences and highlight the surprising accessibility of the yachting world to a wider audience," said Constantinos Constantinou, president & CEO, ART Marine. "Our plan is to make owning a yacht and enjoying the freedom and lifestyle that goes with it, more realizable than it has ever been before."

Five new models in the Azimut's range launched to the region during the boat show included the Azimut 98 Leonardo, the 82, 70, Azimut 43, and the Atlantis 40.

Importers and distributors of some of the most famous yacht brands including Benetti, Azimut, Atlantis, Riviera, Numarine, Monte Carlo and Williams, ART Marine also announced its debut entry into the smaller size segment of recreational boating. The company will represent US sportsboats and sports cruiser brand Four Winns throughout the Middle East region.

Tapping into the growing fishing leisure industry enjoying strong growth in the region, ART Marine has also become the official distributor of the US-based Grady-White boats. The Grady White model range of coastal fishing boats span from 18ft-37ft.

The company's strategic vision to introduce boating to a larger audience extends to the ART Marine Charter division that recently announced an exclusive charter agreement for Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, to complement its established agreement with Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai.

With destinations a key ingredient in the successful yachting formula, ART Marine's Marina Development and Management Division was set up to operate a network of 'lifestyle' marinas and destinations that deliver the premium service and level of expertise expected by discerning yacht owners. To date, the company has management partnerships and service divisions in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman, as well as the UAE where a new marina management contract was recently signed for the Ghantoot Marina.

"'Discover Yachting' is integrated into every element of ART Marine's business, whether a new charter, a new marina, a new model or an additional finance option - we are constantly looking to optimize our customer approach, expand our product portfolio and implement the strategies necessary to thrive in today's world," said Constantinou.
