Ferretti expands presence in China

By IBI Magazine

Italy's Ferretti Group has signed a new dealership agreement with Speedo Marine in China.

Effective immediately, Speedo will carry the Ferretti Yachts range of flybridge motoryachts from 14m-27m (47ft-88ft) in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian and Hainan.

Speedo already serves as Ferretti's dealer for the Itama brand. The company has 10 years' experience selling boats and marine engines, and is planning to open three new sales offices in Hainan, Xiamen and Shanghai by the end of this year.

Ferretti has also added the Guangdong region to the list of territories covered by its Hong Kong and Macau dealer, Kingsway Marine. The company recently opened a sales office in Shenzhen.

The new agreements will be officially launched on the opening day of this year's China International Boat Show, which runs from April 8-11 in Shanghai, China.
