By IBI Magazine
Sail America said today that exhibitor space the new indoor exhibitor hall of Strictly Sail Pacific is completely sold out. The sailboat show is scheduled to take place April 15-18 at Jack London Square in Oakland, California. "We are extremely pleased by the high level of exhibitor support for Strictly Sail Pacific," said Jonathan Banks, show producer and executive director of Sail America, in a statement. "Strictly Sail Pacific continues the encouraging trends from some of the recent winter shows. We are pleased with the very positive exhibitor response and are, in fact, adding new exhibit space to accommodate anticipated last-minute requests for space." Banks said all the major sailboat manufacturers will be bringing boats to the show. Jenneau and Hunter will be showing some models for the first time on the Pacific coast. Gear suppliers and service providers will also display more than 30 new products. There will also be more than 100 seminars at the show. "Participation by show-goers in the Strictly Sail Seminar Series Presented by Blue Water Sailing has increased dramatically over last year," said Banks. "We've noted a major shift in consumer attitudes as more sailors seem to be interested in tackling do-it-yourself projects involving refitting and upgrading their boats."
