Yachtmail acquires 'mega-store' chandlery
By IBI Magazine
Yachtmail, a family-owned UK chandlery based in Lymington, has acquired a new 'mega-site' on Britain's south coast.
Located at Hamble River Boat Yard, opposite Swanwick Marina, the new 5,000sq ft store will offer a range of leading marine brands for both trade and retail customers.
"Yachtmail has surpassed all our expectations over the last 25 years and I am pleased to be able to take broader choices and competitive prices into the heart of the south coast sailing fraternity," says company owner James Powell.
The new site is currently undergoing a major overhaul and will be ready to begin trading in mid-April this year.
Founded in 1966, Yachtmail is said to be the UK's longest standing retail chandlery, offering everything from anchors to antifoul, books to buoyancy aids, lights to liferafts, and more.
