Marine Travelift makes key appointment

US boat hoist specialist Marine Travelift Inc has promoted Stephan Chayer to managing director of international sales/business development. In his new role, Chayer will handle all international marine, industrial and government sales.
Chayer first joined the company in 1998 as international sales engineer. He was promoted to director of European sales in 2003 and named international director in 2006.
Based in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, Marine Travelift builds mobile boat hoists, marine forklifts, self-propelled transporters and other related marine lifting products for companies worldwide. Its export business includes 25 dealers outside the US.
