Ocean Signal appointment

By IBI Magazine

UK-based maritime safety and communication specialist Ocean Signal has appointed Mark Day as its global sales and marketing manager.

Day has many years' experience in the industry, having held senior sales and marketing roles for a number of marine electronics firms. He joins the company from McMurdo, where he served as European sales manager.

"This is an exciting opportunity for me to be involved with a company from its launch to market, being able to influence both growth and direction," says Day. "I am looking forward to developing strong commercial relationships by setting up successful distribution worldwide."

Ocean Signal is new company that specialises in the design and development of advanced communication and safety products. The company, which was launched in June 2010, is led by managing director Alan Wrigley and is based in Margate, Kent.
