Dixon Kendall of Turning Point Propellers dies
By IBI Magazine
Dixon Kendall, former vice president of Turning Point Propellers, passed away last week at the age of 74. He died of a heart attack. Kendall was quoted in Boat & Motor Dealer magazine saying that success could be achieved with perseverance and "not being like everybody else". The company was the first to create colourful retail packaging and displays for dealers, with propeller selection charts and software. Kendall worked at Turning Point with his son, Adam, and wife Anne. "My Dad taught me early on that relationships are vital," said Adam. "He was a true salesman and cared about people in the industry. He is deeply missed, and we appreciate the kind words and fond memories our friends have shared about him." Kendall enjoyed fishing, spending time in Northern Wisconsin with his family and golfing. His clients remember him for a good sense of humour and a commitment for developing personal relationships. Save up to 30% on IPC Media's entire marine portfolio
