Better than expected Oslo show

The Norwegian In-Water Boat Show (Båter i Sjøen) saw a 3.5 per cent rise in the number of visitors to this year's show. The four-day event, which closed on Sunday, was visited by some 16,149 people — well over the organiser's goal of 15,000. Around 450 boats, including more than 100 sailboats, were on display.
"In all we had 16,149 boat-interested visitors and we've got reports of good sales and a good feeling among exhibitors," says Merete Rustad, project manager for the show.
"I think we've closed five contracts and there may be some other deals that will close in the coming days," Erling Riise of Båtsport Import AS told the Båtmagasinet website. Båtsport Import is the Norwegian importer of Sessa Marine boats from Italy.
Many of the exhibitors took the opportunity to present new boats at the show, including Goldfish and Askeladden.
