SeaSatCom signs deal with KNS Inc
By IBI Magazine
SeaSatCom has signed a distributor agreement in France and Monaco with Korea Network System Inc (KNS), a manufacturer of intelligently automated, motorised maritime antennas for TV and VSAT usage. The company already has a large share of the North American market and is now strategically positioning its business in Europe.
"There is an ever-increasing demand by the yachting community for unlimited, easily available, broadband, internet connections via VSAT, just like at home or in the office," says Antoine Guy, VP of sales and marketing at SeaSatCom.
Since the introduction of VSAT services and new GSM/3G "specially for yachtsmen" plans to its catalogue, SeaSatCom claims to have noted a significant increase in business. Its products can be found on a number of the world's leading yachts, including Benetti's 53m (174ft) Latitude, Feadship's 68m (223ft) Lady Christine and a new 53m (174ft) project from Baglietto.
