Hyde launches new servicing network

By IBI Magazine

Hyde Sails has launched a new servicing network following the growth of the company's local dealership network in the UK. Instead of one official Hyde service loft, a network of lofts will provide servicing for Hyde Sails customers at a local level.

The hub of Hyde's service will be at the Hyde loft in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, with a network of specialist service centres around the country and stretching up to Scotland. Further new locations will be announced in the coming months.

"We understand how vital a reliable local service is for our customers, and our UK growth has given us the ability to cover the country with the support of our dealers," says sales and marketing director Richard Franks. "The Cowes loft is ideally situated to operate as the hub for our sail servicing.

"Hyde approved service lofts are already situated across the country, including our recently announced Scottish Service centre."

Founded in 1965 by Edward Hyde and Keith Musto, Hyde Sails is one of the largest volume sail producers worldwide, supplying sails for Optimists to cruisers and ocean racing yachts. The company is headquartered in Swanwick, Southampton.
