Interlux boosts service support to dealers

Production and supply chain improvements at International Paint's Interlux division in the US have resulted in a number of technical service and support enhancements for Interlux dealers and yacht paint application customers, says the company.
"When it became clear to us that the marine industry was going to face stiff headwinds for an extended period of time, we made a commitment to optimising our production and supply channels and expanding our customer relationship programs," says Interlux North America general manager Fred Daoust.
"Earlier this year, we were honoured when these efforts were recognised by members of the National Marine Distributors Association when they selected Interlux as the only paint company finalist for 2010 Supplier of the Year Award in the Platinum Category."
Interlux is a leading supplier of antifouling, paints, epoxy resins and associated boat maintenance products for boat yards, boatbuilders & applicators. The company is part of Netherlands-based Akzo Nobel, which claims to be the largest supplier of industrial coatings worldwide.
