Actisense, the UK-based marine electronics brand from Active Research Ltd, has been providing free guidance to the marine industry on their specialist products and how to get the most from them.

Based on the success of their first workshop, which took place in February this year, a second session was held on the 29th of April.

The workshops were conducted by Actisense MD Phil Whitehurst, along with chief eEngineer Andy Campbell, and technical support engineer, Owen Vachell, and focused on topics including creating reliable hybrid NMEA networks, how to solve typical NMEA 0183 network issues and how the NMEA 2000 can reduce installation time, cost and weight.
