Actisense, the UK-based marine electronics brand from Active Research Ltd, has made key promotions following a sales groeth of 14% in 2015 in comparison to the previous year.

Danny Thrasher has been appointed to the head the newly formed operations team and Mat McCartan has been promoted to marketing manager.

The company has also promoted Maria Wright, former office administrator, to customer services officer.

In addition, former production assistant Kris Raczka has been appointed to the role of production supervisor.

Lesley Keets, Actisense chief operating officer, comments: “After a highly successful year we wanted to give our customers increased access to our dedicated and growing team and we hope this internal restructure will help to do so. We know we can continue to demonstrate growth throughout 2016.”

Keets says plans for 2016 include the opening up new commercial sectors, further develop the Actisense brand, new product launches and obtaining ISO 9001 certificate.

Actisense also aims to improve its business efficiency and customer satisfaction by honing the company’s management system, reducing unnecessary costs and ensuring the quality of both processes and products.

The company aims to have a 15% growth by the end of the 2016 and will be increasing the number of global distributors, creating new partnerships and opportunities.
