Italian shipyard Benetti has announced the sale of hull #7 of its Classic Supreme 132. The contract was signed with the collaboration of brokerage house Ocean Independence.
Commenting on the sale, Fabio Ermetto, chief commercial officer of Benetti, says: “This signed contract was the result of a positive long-term collaboration with the team from Ocean Independence who represented the client in this project and who was able to interact in an extremely professional manner with the team from the yard. This confirms the trend of Benetti’s commercial collaboration with the worldwide brokerage network and specifically with the major brokerage houses.”
The Classic Supreme 132′ is a 40m yacht from the board of Stefano Righini, responsible for the concept and the exteriors. The interiors are the results of the work between Alessandro Pulina of Pulina DNA and the yard’s design office.
“For this client value and volume were high on the priority list,” explains Peter Hürzeler, managing partner of Ocean Independence. “Together we could achieve the required volume in a yacht that was shorter compared to the competition, exactly within the range the client had stipulated as his maximum length, and it was this combination together with Benetti’s professional flexibility, wide range of options and style that won the day.”
Benetti has sold nine superyachts in the period from September 2014 to date. The yard is working on 45 units under construction.
