The Corsair 760 has received a radical redesign by Corsair Marine's partners at Perus Yacht Design.
Corsair Marine has announced that its new Corsair 760 will make her worldwide premier at the Dusseldorf Boat Show 2017. The German show opens from 21-29 January.
The boatbuilder says this new trimaran is destined to bring trailer sailing to the next level. Building on Corsair’s popular 24 and 750 range, this new model has received a radical redesign by Perus Yacht Design.
“The base model gains a 15% improvement in righting moment and a 2.5-degree less heel at comparable wind speeds [this makes] the 760 faster, safer and more comfortable to sail than any previous trimaran in its class,” the company claims.
Commenting on the new model, Corsair Marine says: “This new 760 offers sailors more comfort, performance and safety than our previous 24ft trimaran range. This has been achieved by cleverly designing high volume, wave-piercing floats offering additional buoyancy and significantly increasing the vessels righting moments and safety margins.”
The Corsair 760 has been designed to comfortably sleep couples for weekend getaways and with the addition of an optional collapsible dining table will sleep up to four guests.
The new interior features a full gelcoat headliner in a matte finish – making this boat brighter, more spacious feeling, but softer in its cabin atmosphere.
On a practical level the finish makes her easier to maintain. The new galley is more usable, and modern, while being very easy to clean. The textiles are all-new fabrics for Corsair.
The new model is also sold in a sport version including carbon rotating wing mast and additional performance enhancements.
