German shipyard Lürssen has launched project Global.The 95.2-metre vessel was built for a repeat and very experienced client, who upgrades from his former 68m Lürssen yacht. Project Global will soon be named Kismet.
At the launch ceremony, the owner praised the excellent cooperation with the owner’s team consisting of his captain Kyle Fultz and his crew, the design teams of Espen Oeino and Reymond Langton Design and Moran Yacht & Sip, who supervised the project as well as the Lürssen project team who played an important role in bringing this project to fruition.
“Kismet represents the best of the best in the construction of top quality yachts. We at Moran Yacht and Ship are proud to have been involved in the construction of such a great project,” Robert Moran of Moran Yacht & Ships commented.
Commenting on the launch, Lürssen said: “We are happy that we have met the high-end expectations from the owner in terms of product quality and being able to stay within budget and on time. We are looking forward for Kismet to be delivered as scheduled and finding her place amongst her peers as being a remarkable statement in large yacht construction, based on an excellent design and excellent engineering skills.”
Kismet will be joining the global charter fleet through Moran Yacht & Ship. She will be cruising her first season in the Caribbean.
