Riva Yachts, a brand of the Ferretti Group, has presented two new models for its 26m (88ft) range.
Riva 88′ Florida is a 26.7m convertible hardtop yacht that will set a benchmark for future yachts in this range, the builder claims.
Like many of her predecessors, she is result of the close cooperation between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, the Group’s Engineering Department, and yacht designer Mauro Micheli, the co- founder, together with Sergio Beretta, of Officina Italiana Design, which exclusively design Riva’s entire range.
The boat features a ‘Moon Grey’ shade, a light metallic grey that enhances the yacht’s slender lines, characterizes the first 88’ Florida.
The hull profile’s continuous glazing featuring a stainless steel plate bears the Riva logo in its central part. The large windshield and the steel roll bar complete this new yacht’s design.
The yacht also features a convertible top system capable of shifting from an open to a coupé configuration and vice versa by automatically operating the hard top that can cover the pilot station in the cockpit.
The hard top has been perfectly integrated in both the deckhouse shape and the windshield and roll bar profiles.
When it is stored forward, it is kept in place by its own arms, securely connected to the main body. The arms are folded away and secured inside the side peaks with automatically operated doors.
In the coupé configuration, the hard top is mechanically locked on the windshield and anchored onto the roll bar by means of two electro-hydraulic anchoring systems. The arms can then be manually disconnected from the top and automatically retracted into the storage peaks on the deckhouse.
The 88 Florida is fitted with two MTU 16 V 200 M93, 2435 mhp engines for a maximum speed of 38.5 knots and a cruising speed of 34 knots, with a range of 310 and 340 nm.
88 Domino Super
The 88’ Domino Super follows on the aesthetic of Florida, featuring streamlined profile with a dark grey hull, and large continuous hull glazing
Other features include a fully-restyled aft area, a large sundeck and an outdoor pilot station situated in the central part of the boat.
The yacht can accommodate up to eight guests over a full beam master stateroom as well as three guest cabins located on the lower deck.
She is equipped with two MTU 16V 2000 M93, 2435 Mhp engines providing maximum speed of 38 knots and a cruising speed of 34 knots.
Both models are also offered with two MTU 16V 2000 M94, 2638 Mhp engines, providing up to 40 knots with a cruising speed.
