Italian boatbuilder Sanlorenzo has launched Blue Angel 2, a new 29m motoryacht built for an Italian owner. She is the 15th SL96 model sold and delivered.

The yacht is the first of six launches that the shipyard has scheduled for the next two months. Blue Angel 2 will be followed by two units of the SL96 model, three units of the SL106 vessel and one unit of the new SL86. The latter is the latest model of the Sanlorenzo SL planing hull range that the shipyard introduced at Cannes in September 2015. The shipyard has confirmed that 11 units are already sold.

Constructed in fibreglass with planing hull, Blue Angel 2 is the fourth Sanlorenzo unit designed and built for this client who chose for this vessel a traditional layout with four guest cabins on the lower deck and the owner’s cabin located at bow on the main deck.

Blue Angel 2 features a high-low system located at bow in the superstructure of the dining area and the owner’s cabin, that slides up and down when needed in order to enlarge the windows and let more light in.

This system has been developed by Sanlorenzo’s technical department to ensure that the external lines of the yacht are kept sleek and elegant, with no shape discontinuity.
