The CWM FX London Boat Show 2015 has been shortlisted for three prestigious AEO Excellence Awards 2015.

Established by the Association of Event Organisers (AEO), these awards represent the best the events industry has to offer and celebrates organisers’ achievements, standards of excellence from venues and service quality by suppliers and contractors.

The show organiser National Boat Shows (NBS) is running for Organiser Team of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year and the Innovation Award.

Murray Ellis, NBS managing director, comments: “The CWM FX London Boat Show 2015 was our time to change perceptions and set ourselves apart from the rest. The talented and dedicated team behind the Show took a fresh approach to organising an event which proved triumphant in attracting more visitors and outstanding reviews.”

“Being shortlisted is further proof of our success and we would be delighted to go on and win at least one of these awards in recognition of everyone’s brilliant work.”

The event welcomed 92,288 visitors (4% increase on previous year) over 10 days. This year’s event surprised the marine industry with the theme ‘where adventure starts, pioneers meet and innovation shines’. It introduced interactive attractions, such as the 4D Experience and Datatag Lab, and the latest in marine technology to the Show.

NBS is up against strong competition with finalists including the National Homebuilding & Renovating Show, Ideal Home Show at Christmas 2014, BBC Gardeners’ World Live and London Classic Car Show competing for the same awards.

The judging panel is made up of leading experts in the event and exhibition world. Judges will reveal their winners at the awards ceremony on Friday 26 June 2015 at Grosvenor House.
