The Qatar International Boat Show (QIBS) has been made an ‘approved event’ on behalf of the Union of International Fairs (UFI).
QIBS is the first-ever approved event to be held in Qatar as a member of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
At the same time, Snowcomms – the organisers of the Qatar show – has been approved as a full member of UFI in the ‘Exhibition Organisers’ category.
The 90-year-old UFI, which is headquartered in Paris, claims to be the world’s leading association of trade fair organisers. It aims to serve the world’s exhibition industry and promote the unique value of trade fairs.
Full membership of UFI, which currently has 650 members from 85 countries, allows direct access to a wide range of services and information, a strengthening of relationships with other members, and special opportunities to experience UFI through various educational programmes and seminars.
Faysal Mikati, CEO and founder of Doha-based Snowcomms, says the accreditation will add yet more prestige to the 3rd Qatar International Boat Show, which runs from November 10-14, 2015 at Mourjan Marinas in Lusail City.
