Gulf Craft will be attending the Phuket International Boat Show, PIMEX 2015. The event opens its door from Thursday to Sunday this week at the Royal Phuket Marina, in Thailand.

“PIMEX is one of Asia’s premier boat shows, both in terms of how well it is produced and how well it succeeds in attracting top caliber attendees,” commented Erwin Bamps, CEO of Gulf Craft. “For Gulf Craft, our participation in the event is pivotal to bringing our line-up of luxury vessels to the forefront of Thailand’s increasingly affluent boating community, and to being an active participant in Asia’s thriving maritime industry.”

The Phuket show attracted 3,800 visitors last year.

Gulf Craft will showcase its most recent line-up of luxury vessels at PIMEX, supported by local authorized dealer, Go Boating Thailand. The shipyard will also use the event to regionally launch the latest models of the Oryx, a brand of high-performance sport yachts and cruisers, as well as Majesty Yachts, the company’s line of luxury fly-bridge yachts and superyachts.

The number of ultra-high net worth individuals in Thailand grew by a 147% between 2003 and 2013, according to The Wealth Report 2014 by global real estate consultants Knight Frank, and is expected to grow another 52% by 2023, offering a promising outlook for the country’s yacht market.
