Bavaria Catamarans unveiled first drawings of the new Nautitech Open 46 at the International Multihull Boat Show in La Grande Motte, France.

The new model follows on the Open 40 version in that it has a unique cockpit. Below deck customers can decide between a 3-cabin version with a luxurious owner’s cabin at port hull and two guest cabins at star board and a 4-cabin version.

“After the huge success of the Nautitech Open 40, it was the logical step to develop a catamaran with around 46 feet now. However, we have to ensure, that we are able to double the production capacity of Nautitech Yachts in France in the next months. This happens now and we just started with the preliminary work on the mould of the Nautitech Open 46”, explains product manager Daniel Kohl.

In addition, the German boatbuilder said the international Boat Show in La Grande Motte closed with new orders and many new customer contacts. The show drew to a close on Sunday 19 April after five trade fair days.
