Italian boatbuilder Canados has recruited US yachting veteran Edward Sacks to serve as a link between the company and the brokerage community.
An experienced yachtsman, Sacks had a major impact on the Italian yachting industry as he had built for himself the 48-metre Azzura.
The appointnemnt follows on from the need to respond to increasing demands coming “from everywhere in Europe and mainly from North America, Mexico France and Italy”, the Ostia-based shipyard claims.
The Italian shipyard has also announced that its plans to revamp the shipyard’s infrastructures progresses well. The dredging operation of the Canados marina is now underway and the new cover of its 75-metre long shed was completed at the end of last month.
