China-based boatbuilder Explorer Motor Yachts has signed a deal with Canadian dealer North Pacific Yachts. Based in Surrey, British Columbia, the company will represent the brand in Canada and the United States.
Richard Boland Yachts continues to represent the company in California and Mexico.
Explorer CEO Mark Campion said: “We have spent a great deal of time and research to find the right relationships in the US market. It is vital to our international success and to the strength of our brand. I have known Trevor Brice of North Pacific Yachts for many years. He has a deep understanding of our trawler-style boats and I am delighted we are now working together.”
Based at Ningbo in China, Explorer Motor Yachts has also announced the release of four new models including 50 Pilothouse, 58 Pilothouse and 52- and 62-footers joins its passage-makers line.
The Explorer 58 Pilothouse is a classic-style semi-displacement cruiser offering three cabins and two bathrooms with the master suite stretching across the full beam amidships. Crew quarters aft of the engine room is an option, with access through a water-tight door in the transom
The 50 Pilothouse offers the option of two or three cabins, with similarly high-end appointments and fitout.
The Odyssey ocean-going passage-makers are a new style for Explorer, offering accommodation in two or three cabins.
