Italian boatbuilder Sanlorenzo uses a transportation to carry the new yacht from Mediterranean to North Sea to reach the boat show through the Rhine river. Boot Düsseldorf opens from 21–29 January.
Boatbuilder Sanlorenzo has announced that its SL78, the new 25m motoryacht that the Italian yard presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival last year, has arrived to Germany to be on display at the upcoming boot Düsseldorf. The German show opens from 21–29 this month.
To reach the boat show, the 25m motoryacht, was transferred on a special freighter from Mediterranean to North Sea and, sailing up the Rhein river till Düsseldorf, it was moved inside the exhibition centre.
SL78 is a brand new model from Sanlorenzo. This is a planing motoryacht in fibreglass and entry-level line for SL’s planing fleet.
Sanlorenzo claims she is the only yacht in its category to be made to measure according to its owner’s requests.
The new motoryacht features a lower gunwale outside the saloon to allow more light to enter through the large windows, a solution that means the living area is better lit and owner and guests are given a real feeling of enjoying a home away from home, the boatbuilder explains.
In addition, the steps of the access stairway on the outside upper deck are flanked by glass panels that seem to float in the air.
Sanlorenzo also claims that the flying bridge on the SL78 offers the most space of any motoryacht in this category.
The tender is stowed in the aft garage and is easy to launch, just as it would be in a large superyacht.
Seven units of the SL78 have been sold since Sanlorenzo presented the at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2016.
