Nordhavn Europe has announced that a new Nordhavn 76 has been shipped to be delivered to her owner. The vessel departed the Ta Shing factory in Taiwan last week. However, it won’t be heading straight for UK shores as its British owners will be meeting it at Long Beach, CA, taking the opportunity to cruise the West Coast of America in their new vessel.
This Nordhavn 76 is hull #21 of the series, and the 511th built by Nordhavn. She features a forward pilothouse configuration.
The owners of this N76 #21 currently own a Nordhavn 64, which is also a forward pilothouse design. They were looking for more room and the pleasure of building a new boat. They simply wanted to replicate the look, style and build quality in a bigger and roomier boat. So the FPH Nordhavn 76 was an obvious solution and one that could easily be accommodated.
Neil Russell, director at Nordhavn Europe, comments: “This is a perfect example of the versatility of the Nordhavn range, and the flexibility we can offer not just with the design and build of our boats, but also when it comes to its delivery to the customer.”
Another British owned forward pilothouse N76 is the Spirit of Ulysses, which will on display at the Southampton Boat Show next month. The yacht is the largest Nordhavn model ever to be displayed at a European show.
Established in 2004, Nordhavn Europe is the European office for Pacific Asian Enterprises, builders of the Nordhavn range. Based at MDL’s Hamble Point Marina, in Southampton, Nordhavn Europe is managed by joint directors Neil Russell and Philip Roach. The UK branch provides sales, servicing and repair services for the entire Nordhavn range.
Pacific Asian Enterprises produces long-range Nordhavn cruising yachts, ranging from the Nordhavn 40 to the flagship Nordhavn 120.
