Long-range motoryacht builder Outer Reef Yachts has launched its new Nautilus Power Catamaran Series. Recognised in the yachting industry as the leading blue-water, long-range motoryacht builder, Outer Reeef has applied similar construction and design techniques to the new series, giving it the opportunity to meet the needs of those desiring a multihull experience.
The Nautilus Power Catamaran Series will be European built and CE certified, with design by naval architect Ward Setzer. It will initially be offered as a 440 model, with larger 650 and 750 models to come.
The Nautilus 440 is expected to set a new standard for superior performance, stability, efficiency and overall comfort.
According to Outer Reef, the series will surpass all competition in regards to efficiency, at both low and high speeds due to unique features including a semi-planing underwater form rising to asymmetric hulls, a plumb bow, and Cummins POD Common Rail engines.
The Nautilus 440 will also offer substantial interior space, thanks to an overall beam of 23ft that creates a flow-through main salon design, providing a living environment totalling nearly 1,246sq ft of space.
It will be available in several layout options, including a Premium Package that offers full-length master cabin with en-suite head and panoramic windows.
The yacht can accommodate up to eight guests.
Exterior living space of the Nautilus 440 will total around 601sq ft; the expansive flybridge will offer entertainment areas, including a spacious dining area, lounge pads, wet bar and storage space for water toys and diving gear. The main deck will also be generous for a compact vessel.
Outer Reef Yachts builds long-range motoryachts from 53ft-115ft in length. The company’s headquarters are in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, with additional locations worldwide.
