    Danish deck hardware and rigging manufacturer BSI A/S has acquired Hundested Propeller A/S, a Danish supplier of controllable pitch propellers and gearboxes, and tunnel and retractable swing thrusters. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

    Norway’s Frydenbo Marine has acquired an 80% stake in Norwegian boat brand Nordkapp Boats.  The purchase price was not disclosed.

    True North Powerboats sold


    Catalina Yachts in Largo, Florida has acquired Downeast cruiser manufacturer True North Powerboats for an undisclosed sum. The moulds for the True North 34, True North 34 Outboard Express and True North 38 are being moved to the Catalina plant and production will begin this year.

    Canadian aluminium boat builder Bolton Marine Group announced this week that it has acquired Daigle Marine, a British Columbia-based manufacturer of welded aluminium yachts and commercial workboats. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
