Award focuses on the small and medium-sized enterprises not listed on the stock exchange

The leading Italian boat builder, Absolute Yachts, has been included in a league of the ‘Top 1,000 Companies to Inspire Europe’, in a competition supervised by the London Stock Exchange Group, the owner of the London and Italian exchanges.

The Italian yacht builder, based in Piacenza, says it is proud to have received such recognition in the third edition of the competition which focuses on the small and medium-sized enterprises not listed on the stock exchange.

The success is put down to the dynamism of Absolute; its spirit of innovation and growth rate as well as its employment record. The company was said to represent a major demonstration of how the competitiveness in the nautical, craft and engineering industries is livelier in Italy, which makes Absolute a business world source of inspiration and role model for the EU economy.

The award is not only given for the company’s success but also relates to their products’ quality and design. This is the latest in a number of awards the company has won. Just in 2018, Absolute has in fact counted different mentions: in January “Export2-Succeed” as export leader (acknowledgment organized by UPS and L’Imprenditore of Piccola Industria di Confindustria); and in April among the “500 Champions” of the growth in Italy (report promoted by the “Corriere della Sera” magazine together with “ItalyPost” company).

Today Absolute also joined the shortlist for an award at the annual Boat Builder Awards, in association with Raymarine, to take place in Amsterdam in November.
