Exhibitors have until 20 December to submit entries
Exhibitors have until 20 December to submit entries for the 2020 Minneapolis Boat Show Innovation Awards. The awards will be presented during the Sneak Peek Evening on Wednesday 22 January in the show’s lifestyle feature booth.
The awards focus on boat innovation and will be awarded in three categories reflecting the Midwest US locale of the show: aluminium fishing boats, fibreglass fishing boats and pontoon boats.
Known as ’The Land of 10,000 Lakes’, and bordering Lake Superior, Minnesota is a freshwater boating haven that regularly finishes in the Top 5 states for total number of boat registrations. The state’s Department of Natural Resources data shows 15 vessels registered for every 100 people in the state.
The awards program is managed by the show’s producer, the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and judged by a panel of writers from Boating Writers International (BWI).
The US $350 registration fee buys more than a chance at the coveted award, as entrants are included in a number of promotional opportunities through the show guide, signage, inclusion in a new-this-year display area called Innovation Way and worldwide media exposure.
Full details and entry forms are available on the Minneapolis Boat Show website.
