Award presented by TAITRA and Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs
Taiwanese yacht builder, Kha Shing, has been awarded the 2020 Taiwan Excellence Award for its 23m Monte Fino F76 Flybridge motoryacht.
The prestigious award is presented jointly by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to encourage Taiwan industries to upgrade and incorporate innovation and value into their products. The selection of awards is usually based on four criteria including R&D, Design, Quality and Marketing.
The Monte Fino F76 Flybridge was jointly developed by Kha Shing and Humphreys Yacht Design in the UK. Kha Shing says the model is designed to deliver the finest cruising experience and comfort with a sleek and dynamic profile.
The model has a contemporary interior design with spacious main deck space for entertaining and relaxation. Food and drinks can readily be stored in the double door fridge-freezer and storage cabinets in the galley to support catering for a big party. Crews are able to access the galley, helm and crew area without interrupting guests onboard to ensure privacy.
The helm station is ergonomically-designed for ease of handling the yacht. The yacht fulfils ISO regulations for visibility and safety. The SCRIMP process was implemented for lamination, and eco-friendly antifouling is used to minimise its environmental impact.
Kha Shing has over 40 years of experience in yacht building and the company says it continuously challenges itself to build better yachts in order to satisfy client requirements. This is achieved through a streamline build process as well as a sophisticated quality assurance programme.
