A three-day event, the Budapest Boat Show is the kick-off of the boating and watersports season and runs in conjunction with the Travel exhibition at HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center. 

According to visitor surveys, 58% of those attending the show own a boat and 35% rent boats; 44% indicated they were interested in sailboats, 40% in motorboats and 16% in electric boats; and 35% reported they had plans to buy a  boat in the future. In 2020, the show is putting a special focus on smaller boats intended for use on Hungary’s many lakes based on visitor feedback.
