Polish builder to invest $3.5m in new yard

Polish boatbuilder Elite Shipyard Elk Ltd has obtained permission to build a new shipyard in Poland’s Suwalki Special Economic Zone (SSEZ) where the company will make yachts. The investment is said to be worth more than PLN 12.5m (US$3.5m).
