Appointment of four new members comes just in time for key summer boating season

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) in the US has announced four new appointments to its Discover Boating consumer marketing team.

In their new roles James Webb, Maggie Maskery, Kim Koditek and Daniel Olsen will focus on digital marketing, content development and media/influencer relations to support Discover Boating’s core mandate of encouraging consumer participation in boating.

“These are exciting times for the Discover Boating campaign with the hiring of four talented and experienced team members who play critical roles in our robust marketing efforts to grow boating,” said NMMA CMO and Discover Boating president, Carl Blackwell. “James, Maggie, Kim and Daniel bring their individual expertise, creativity and enthusiasm to the industry’s national campaign to inspire and assist more people to get on the water.”

Operated as a consumer outreach program under NMMA’s Grow Boating industry initiative, the Discover Boating program promotes boating as a recreational activity through a comprehensive online and social media presence, advertising, and exhibiting at a wide range of public events. Campaign programming promotes the accessibility and excitement of the boating lifestyle while debunking myths about boat ownership and providing functional information to help new boaters make informed buying decisions.
