Marathon Leisure to distribute US firm’s waterproof AV equipment in Britain

Aquatic AV, a US manufacturer of specialist waterproof AV equipment, has appointed Marathon Leisure as its exclusive distributor in the UK.

“With this year’s introduction of several new and unique audio products to the leisure marine market, we have seen increases in demand and market share in many parts of Europe and we are delighted to announce our new partnership with Marathon Leisure who are aligned with many other premium brands, have excellent customer service along with a loyal customer base,” says Aquatic CEO Robert Fils.

Tim Millinder, Marathon Leisure’s managing director, says: “With their technical features and strategic competitive value, we immediately saw the strength of the Aquatic AV product offering and having sold audio equipment in the UK market for many years we believe this new partnership will be a success for both our companies.”

Aquatic AV makes waterproof marine stereo systems, marine amplifiers, marine speakers and subwoofers, and marine AV accessories. The company is based in San Jose, California.
