The French builder will display 20 sail and motor boat models at next month’s show

Beneteau is to summon a fleet of 20 models to this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, including three yachts that will be having their global or European debuts.

“The Festival is an important platform for the brand to showcase how it continues its legacy and brings innovation into its new-generation models,” says Beneteau in a statement. “Two world premieres and one European premiere will be launched at Cannes, aligning with Beneteau’s global strategy of presenting new boating projects at the most important boat shows in the world.”

Beneteau has chosen the Cannes Yachting Festival for the world premiere of its new Swift Trawler 47, which it describes as a “spacious and social long-distance cruise featuring a greater cruising range and higher engine power as well as an incredible feeling of space.”

The Swift Trawler 47 is designed to be even more sociable, making it ideal for boating with family and friends. Designed with three cabins and a sofa bed, the 47 can provide up to eight berths. Her sister models, the 44 and the 35, will also be on display.

Beneteau has also upgraded the standards of its Flyer range this year, and will present the brand-new Flyer 8 in the Sundeck and Space deck versions at Cannes. “Spacious and practical, the two new-generation Flyers have a certified capacity of 10 people and can be easily transported. Equipped with Air Step2, the two new vessels offer quick lift-off, comfort, and great stability at sea for daily boating needs.”

The Beneteau sailboat range will include the Oceanis 46.1, which will have its European premiere at Cannes following her successful world debut in the Sydney Boat Show at the beginning of August.

Beneteau says: “As well as her much-applauded stepped hull, she boasts all the features of a large yacht without sacrificing speed, and is a joy to manoeuvre. Also joining the Oceanis family at Cannes will be five other popular models including the 55.1, the 51.1, the 41.1, the 38.1 and the 35.1, catering for a variety of sailing dreams. The award-winning Oceanis Yacht 62 will also make her appearance at the show.”
