Boat shortage leads to rental rationing at Florida boat club

The Freedom Boat Club network serving the Tampa Bay area has introduced a ’Port/Starboard’ rationing system for member rentals to deal with a back order of 800 boats

The huge, and seemingly growing, demand for people to get out on the water has brought changes – and some controversy – to the way one Freedom Boat Club (FBC) franchisee is structuring its rentals.
