Energy Solutions appoints US distributor

UK-based Energy Solutions has chosen Aquamare Marine to distribute its new Marine Iso-Boost Transformer range in the US. Aquamare will be responsible for all sales, service and spare parts.

Aquamare Marine offers sales and support from three office locations – Plymouth in the UK, West Palm Beach Florida, and on the Gold Coast of Australia. With 30 people working worldwide supporting products and marine services, Aquamare offers installation on all products they sell as a core part of their service.

“We currently sell a wide range of products from electronic antifouling to water treatment systems; and the addition of the Energy Solutions’ Iso-Boost range means we are able to offer an expanded portfolio to our marine customers,” says Mike Sommerfeld, Aquamare’s director.

The Iso-Boost Transformer range from Energy Solutions provides a cost-effective and reliable solution to isolate and manage a shore line. It provides all of the features of a normal isolation transformer, as well as providing a boost function to manage the volt drop on heavily loaded shore lines, or to cope with a 208V (phase to phase) supply.

According to Aquamare, the demand for these new units is proving to be very strong due to the Charles Industries range of iso-boost transformers no longer being in production. The Energy Solutions models are a direct fit and form for the Charles Industry units, delivering owners and boatbuilders a very simple replacement or new build option.
