UK firm signs exclusive distribution agreement with Besto Lifesavers
Following last week’s news that EP Barrus has entered the marine chandlery market, the UK-based engine importer and distributor has just signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Besto Lifesavers – a brand of marine safety and life-saving equipment.
Besto Lifesavers offer a range of life-jackets and buoyancy aids for leisure and professional users, all of which conform to the latest European and international safety standards. The brand is owned by Dutch distributor Lankhorst Taselaar and is part of the Talamex range of marine chandlery.

Headquartered in Bicester, Oxfordshire, EP Barrus designs, develops and builds engines for customers across the UK and overseas. The company also markets and distributes Yanmar diesel inboard engines, Mariner and Mercury outboards, and over 3,500 chandlery items from Lankhorst Taselaar’s Talamex range.
