Barnes Yachts will offer a full suite of yacht services
Barnes, a company based in France that provides tailor-made services to a wealthy French and international customer base, has established a new division offering a suite of yachting services. The news follows the company setting up other new ventures covering art and wine.
“Barnes is present in all the main locations where yachting is a key business, such as Monaco, Saint Tropez, Miami, Saint-Barthélemy (St Barts), Corsica, Mauritius and Greece,” said Thibault de Saint Vincent, president of Barnes. “The synergy between our offices and this new department is, therefore, clear. Barnes Yachts benefits from the Barnes international network to guide its clients across their yachting projects and related decisions.”
Barnes Yachts will offer its clientele a range of bespoke services to support them with their yachting-related projects by partnering with Althaus Luxury Yachting. The group’s new arm brings together a team of international experts operating from Monaco.
Spearheaded by Eric Althaus, who has over 30 years of experience in the yachting sector, Barnes Yachts will provide a new range of dedicated services and solutions to help its clients fulfil their yachting requirements. The team will operate from a number of strategic locations around the globe.
This suite of services includes yacht sales and purchase, seasonal charters, yacht management, and new-build design and construction. Eric Althaus is the CEO of Barnes Yachting and his company, Althaus Luxury Yachting, has been operating since 1986. It is a member of Cluster Monaco Yachting and Althaus serves on the cluster’s board.
