German builder celebrates global success of new motorboat brand

German RIB manufacturer MS Marine is reporting “immense demand” for its new motorboat brand, Sterk, which had its world premiere at boot Düsseldorf. Since its market introduction in January, the Sterk 31 motorboat has quickly gained momentum and proven to be a true hot seller, the company maintains.

“The order books are filling up at record speed,” says MS Marine in a statement. “The success of Sterk is reflected not only in sales figures but also in nominations for prestigious awards within the maritime industry.”

The Sterk 31 RC (Rear Cabin) was recently nominated in two categories for prestigious awards: the Best of Boats International Award in the Best for Performance category and the European Powerboat of the Year Award 2024.

“While MS Marine’s inflatable boat business saw a slight decline this year, the outlook for 2024 is more than promising,” the statement says. “We anticipate that the introduction of new versions of the Sterk 31 motorboat, including the announced Wetbar and Cabin versions, will lead to further increases. These new versions provide a broader selection and cater to the diverse demands of our discerning customers.”

MS Marine is one of Germany’s biggest inflatable boat producers. The company builds and distributes all kinds of inflatable boats, including the ZAR Mini, ZAR Interceptor and FISH brands, and exclusively distributes ZAR Formenti and GRAND inflatables in over 40 countries worldwide.
