Singapore-based Dream Nautical is a leading powerboat resource for the region
Johnson Yachts has expanded its global dealer network with the appointment of Singapore-based Dream Nautical, to cover Southeast Asia. This territory joins the other dealer partners located in the US, Germany, UK, Cyprus, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
Dream Nautical (formerly Boatjungle) has quickly grown into a leading powerboat resource in SE Asia. Jon Dante, Dream Nautical’s managing director, says: “We proudly and exclusively represent some of the most prestigious naval architects and shipyards in the industry and we are happy that Johnson Yachts has joined us.”
The first big exhibition for Johnson Yachts with the new dealer is the Ocean Marina Pattaya Boat Show 2018, which runs from November 29 to December 2.
In addition to Johnson Yachts, Dream Nautical acts for leading Taiwanese naval architects and shipyards including Selene Ocean Yachts, Novatec Yachts and Dyna Yachts. In terms of power plant manufacturers, it represents Caterpillar, Cummins, Onan, Volvo and John Deere. Dream Nautical also offers a selection of brokerage boats for sale.
Johnson Yachts has recently enhanced its superyacht sector involvement with the launch of the Johnson 115 at the 2018 Ft Lauderdale Boat Show. The new flagship model has an exterior design by Bill Dixon and interior by Design Unlimited.
Johnson Yachts is known for producing yachts with large-volume designs and the new 115 will further enhance this position. This superyacht offers layouts of five or six staterooms and high levels of customisation are available.
“In recent years, we’ve been getting quite a few inquiries about building tri-deck superyachts,” says Andy Huang, president of Johnson Yachts. “It’s time for us to come up with a stunning new breed of yacht.”
The Dixon design includes a striking plumb bow that carries her volume forward. In addition, her tri-deck profile is inviting with large windows, all protected by bulwarks artfully inlaid with glazing to preserve views from everywhere on board.
