Lumishore receives DAME Special Mention for second year running

Lumi-Link Wireless, part of the recently launched LUX Lighting Collection by LED lighting specialist Lumishore, received a Special Mention at this year’s DAME Design Award – an honour that was bestowed on the company for the second year running. It was also the 8th time that Lumishore has been nominated for a DAME.

Lumi-Link Wireless brings all of the fine color tuning functionality of the company’s LUX lights and adds wireless control, removing the need for data cable runs. This drastically simplifies smart lighting installation for new-builds and retrofits alike, saving boatbuilders’ and owners’ time, effort and cost. With a range of over 150m, the lights can be installed on vessels of all sizes.

With Lumi-Link Wireless, Lumishore’s five-channel CRGBW (Cold-white/Red /Green/Blue/Warm-white) LUX Lighting Collection LED lights can be placed anywhere on the boat to be centrally controlled from any combination of MFD’s, optional Lumishore displays, switches and/or any connected Smart Device with no need to run long data cables through the boat.

Using ‘Adaptive Frequency Hopping’ technology, the system constantly monitors wireless activity on the boat to use the quietest channel available at any given time, ensuring the highest reliability of the lighting system and the boat’s onboard WiFi, radio and navigation equipment.
