New yacht services business opens in Hong Kong

A new yacht services business called Iseo Yachting has opened in Hong Kong. Iseo was set up by two long-standing industry professionals, Adam Blackmore and Bryan Tse. Together that have been active in the yacht market for some 30 years, with Tse specialising in yacht management for the past decade and Blackmore being in sales for 15 years with 10 of them in Asia.

This new player in Asia’s most mature yachting market offers what it calls a “complete end-to-end solution for yacht owners” both locally and globally, offering new build and pre-owned brokerage, charter, and operational yacht management.

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of Iseo Yachting Limited, a company that reflects our passion and dedication to the world of yachting,” says Blackmore. “We believe that owning or chartering a yacht is truly a lifestyle choice and one our clients have worked hard to make. That’s why we are committed to providing our clients with the best possible service, from finding their dream yacht to ensuring its optimal performance and maintenance.”

Tse explains: “Iseo has over 20 yachts under management, equivalent to just over 1,600ft (487m) worth of boats. I look forward to continuing to provide technical support to our clients as well as a host of new services.” Tse also founded Global Yacht Services, specialising in yacht management, four years ago and will continue to support the firm’s existing clients.

Tse says he is looking forward to offering the market a wider range of sales and technical services in the future. The company is currently exhibiting at the Thailand International Boat Show in Phuket where it has the 40m (131ft) Silentworld on display, highlighting the charter side of Iseo Yachting.

Blackmore was also a speaker at the Thailand Yachting Conference, held the day before the show opened, drawing on his experience of having worked with Simpson Marine, Asia Yachting and Asiamarine, where he was commercial director and a sales broker for Fraser Yachts.
