Propspeed announces supply agreement with Nautor Swan

Auckland, New Zealand-based coatings manufacturer Propspeed announced on Tuesday that it has reached a supply agreement with Finnish yacht manufacturer Nautor Swan to provide its biocide-free antifouling coating as standard equipment for the propellers and running gear on all Swan Arrow units.

“Nautor Swan has a rich history of crafting iconic yachts that embody luxury and performance,” said Propspeed CEO, Marcus Hamilton. “They are renowned for selecting only the highest quality components and materials in their yachts, so we are honoured to have earned their trust. We are confident that new owners will be thrilled with the performance of Propspeed.”

The boatbuilder says it was attracted by Propspeed’s sustainable benefits, including reduced fuel consumption and emissions, and extended anode life to reduce heavy metal impact.
