Oasis Marinas will offer Siren’s MTC Connected Boat technology to boaters

Oasis Marinas and Siren Marine are partnering to deliver Siren’s MTC Connected Boat technology to boaters that call one of Oasis’s 20 marinas on the US east coast home. The marina management firm will also use Siren’s Fleet Management Portal to monitor and track customers’ boats.

While Oasis is working to expand its footprint in states from Connecticut to Virginia, and Washington, DC, it believes the Siren partnership will help round out customer offerings that included its additional business divisions – the Snag-a-Slip marina reservation system and Marina Life magazine.

“Our goal is to provide a five-star hotel experience at the marinas we manage,” said Dan Cowens, Oasis Marinas’ CEO, in a news release. “An important part is providing a place where boaters can relax and focus on having a good time on the water. We immediately recognised how Siren Marine’s Connected Boat Technology, and the peace of mind it provides boaters, helps us achieve that goal.”

Siren Marine’s MTC system keeps boaters appraised of their boats condition and location from anywhere in the world using a mobile phone app. It uses geofence tracking and monitors a variety of the boat’s functions.

Both companies say the agreement goes beyond offering Siren’s technology to Oasis’ tenants, but is a true partnership bringing Siren exposure though the Snag-a-Slip and the magazine.
