‘Super fan’ files trademark to “help” Elon Musk

A late-December US Patent and Trademark Office filing created quite the buzz when Investing.com reported that Austin, Texas-based Tesla could be expanding into motors that were “not for land vehicles”, specifically “for categories including motors for airplanes, boats and toys.” But as it turns out, a so-called Tesla ‘super fan’ has admitted he was behind the trademark application.
