First Class Sailing in the UK has expanded its fleet with the purchase of two Beneteau Ocean 38.1 sailing yachts from Ancasta.

The yacts will be used as part of the sail training which First Class Sailing offers, including RYA courses, boat handling and mile-building sailing weekends, plus more.

“Our fleet works very hard,” says Charlie Tulloch from First Class Sailing. “We add new boats every five years to make sure our customers are getting the best experience and training on the latest yachts available. We are delighted we chose Ancasta to broker the deal because of the excellent service they provide.”

Ancasta is the largest Beneteau Power and Sail dealer in the UK and claims to be the largest boat sales network in Europe. It will be showcasing the Beneteau Oceanis 38.1 alongside a selection of other power and sail boats at boot Düsseldorf later this month.

First Class Sailing says it chose the Beneteau Oceanis 38.1 model for its cruising comfort. The yacht has two helm stations, a mainsail arch, and a spacious cockpit. With three cabins, berths for eight and a toilet/shower room, it offers stylish comfort in a well-optimised interior space.

First Class Sailing runs Royal Yachting Association (RYA) practical courses out of Shamrock Quay in Southampton, as well as offering RYA shore-based learning in London.
