Cummins reports strong Q2 results

Near 60% sales growth and triple-digit gains in operating income, net income driven by surging North American markets

Engine manufacturer Cummins Inc reported second quarter revenues of US$6.1bn this week, representing a 59% year-over-year increase over the $3.8bn in net sales reported for the previous Q2.
